Dreams of a Nation is an independent project founded to provide resources and information on Palestinian cinema. This website makes available information on the history of Palestinian filmmaking, biographies of filmmakers as well as synopses of films, and will provide a library of critical writings on Palestinian film for researchers and interested individuals to access. This project is strictly limited to work by Palestinians, and does not include the wide range of materials that have been produced by non-Palestinians about Palestine or related issues.

Dreams of a Nation also sponsors and curates film screenings of Palestinian films around the world. This website presents and catalogues information about these festivals and screenings.The Dreams of a Nation Project is also an attempt to create a physical archive of Palestinian cinema in the future.
